From the airport, we were taken to our hotel at La Quinta Inn (West) about 30 minutes drive, helped us check-in and carried our baggage to our room. They offered to take us out for dinner that evening, although exhausted, we accepted the offer. For the short time that we are just getting acquainted, we realized they are wonderful people. By the way, the one night accommodation was arranged and paid by them.

The following day, we were taken to Sunsites, about an hour ride. We observed the acres and acres of pecan and pistachio plantation. There we toured the golf course, drove by churches, fire station, bank, medical clinic, library and of course, about 20 houses well built (not shack). On some areas, there are electrical poles along the route as well as telephone cable and water to which some are hooked up to a water company or they have their private wells. At a distance, southeast of Sunsites about five miles, you can see the power plant that services the area. To the northwest of the Sunsites, you can see the Cochise Stronghold. Sunsites is surrounded by a spectacular mountain views. The soil is fertile and not red as we would see in the northern part of Guam.

Arizona’s weather at least during the winter is wonderful. There is no need for an air-conditioner at night because it goes down to about 50 degrees. During the day, it’s about 70 degrees cool and not humid. Arizona has clean air and are able to see the horizon and clear skies.

When we return to Guam, we quickly decided to see Jeff to process the final paper work. Frank and I are satisfied with our investment. If anyone is considering land for a homesite or just to relax and enjoy the country’s serenity and escape pressure, I will say Sunsites is the place.

Lastly, I would like to thank these wonderful people as I will only mention by their first name: Jacob, Howard, and Barbara, gave us a memorable, pleasant experience that will stay with us for a long time to come.

I thought the area (Sunsites) was very beautiful. The tour was very informational with lots of history behind it. My group was shown a model home. The house was very beautifully designed. Sunsites has mountains surrounding the entire background and the temperature seemed very pleasant.

How, in such limited space can one explain or describe the beauty of the land in Sunsites Arizona? That certainly isn’t going to be an easy task.
Let me begin by telling you about our trip. My wife Maria, and I arrived at Tucson International Airport at 3 a.m.. He took us directly to the Airport La Quinta Hotel, where all the arrangements had already been made on our behalf, a beautiful place to stay. The following day we were taken to Sunsites to look over the property that we had already bought. It was beautiful, far more than we had expected. The land is flat and surrounded by some of the most majestic mountain ranges we have ever seen. Unlike Guam, the soil is perfect for growing whatever you have a mind to plant. It’s not the red clay that we see here in the South, nor is the soil a thin covering like most of the North. Just walking the land gives you a feeling of pride and serenity.

We were so impressed that we bought another lot and have already hired a contractor to build the house that we selected. Water and power are very close by and the connection fees are quite reasonable. Telephone services are also available as is Postal services. We couldn’t have asked for more.

All along the trip from Tucson to Sunsites you see Pecan ad Pistachio plantations, and many other signs of the expansion of Tucson toward the Southeast. At the site we had a look at the magnificent golf courses and much of the surrounding area and were impressed by the cleanliness of the entire area. If you like animals, you’re in for a treat. You have deer, javelinas (wild pigs), rabbits, quails and many other types of birds, and of course, you can hunt.

It is very hard to explain the true feeling you get when you step on land. It’s almost like Guam was about 30 or 40 years ago, in terms of peacefulness, no crime, and no traffic. I encourage everyone who might be looking for a great place to retire and maybe raise some grandchildren, to really consider Arizona and most especially the Sunsites area as your place to be. You just might be surprised at what you can buy and the small price that you pay. If you are concerned about the weather, we don’t be. We arrived on the 17th of January and it was supposed to be a very cold winter there; however, the temperature only went down to 43 degrees at night and very early in the morning. During the day, we didn’t even need our jackets. Homes, of course, come with central air and heating. The clean, dry air makes you feel 10 years younger, and of course improves your health.

We were very satisfied with the investment that we have made in Sunsites and consider it money wisely spent, not just for our future but for the future of our grandchildren as well. The educational facilities there are first rate and the prospects for the younger generation are unlimited. Many of the people on Guam have already bought a lot in Sunsites and I am sure that many more will become landowners there in the very near future. Don’t be left behind wishing that you had taken advantage of this wonderful opportunity only to find that it’s all sold. Get in on this great deal now. We plan to leave the island on May 31st, and we are looking forward to having some neighbors from Guam, maybe even have our own community there; wouldn’t that be great! No more high prices for everything and sub-standard services, no more worrying about typhoons, power outages or all of the other things that we have come to accept as part of life. I and my wife will be happy to talk to anyone who may be interested in this type of move and would be happy to show you the pictures that we took of the property while there. I believe you will really be impressed and eager as we are to start a whole new life in a wonderful place.

Very satisfied. Our lot is very huge compared to the lots in the core community. We visited a model home and immediately felt like moving and building on our property. Our guide was very helpful in answering all our questions about Sunsites and Arizona in general. The temperature is cooler than Guam. Sunsites is a very beautiful community.

We are really pleased to see the property. We like the climate, the location of the property, the vicinity to the town, the closeness to the utility, the road. The mountain view around it is very panoramic. We appreciate the time and information that our guide relayed to us and are very thankful for her time.

We were very excited to see our property and had a lot of high expectations of it. When we saw it, it was just wonderful. The soil is great for planting, it doesn’t need any excavation and the view is spectacular. The weather was perfect when we went and the flowers were in bloom. The tour was really informative and Nancy is an excellent guide. Everyone we’ve met are all so nice here. Thank You!

I noticed that the area has developed which is a positive step towards the growth of the subdivision. I noticed neighbors not far away from my lot, with power lines and a paved road nearby. I am happy with my investment, and Nancy was a great tour guide!

As you are probably aware, we have recently completed our visit to Sunsites. What you’re probably not aware of is how surprised and excited we are of Sunsites. On our way, we envisioned a barren and hot place but, to the contrary, we found it to be very comfortable with a sense of belonging. We fell in love with the land, the wide open spaces, the relaxing atmosphere and the lullaby that blows with the breeze. To tell you the truth, we were quite skeptical of Sunsites but actually standing there, in that awesome and beautiful country, changed skepticism to wonderment. With my wife by my side, I said this is the place, the place to raise our children. And now, the wheels are in motion for our eventual move to Sunsites. Thank you and God Bless.

I couldn’t help but smile after reading the advertisement that your company recently placed in the Pacific Daily News (PDN) regarding the availability of properties for sale in Sunsites, Arizona. Each time such an ad is published in our daily newspaper, I learn about it from relatives, friends, co-workers and personal acquaintances who see our names (Frank and I) indicated as owners who have seen and offered comments regarding our Sunsites property. Let me just say that those statements were written in haste while touring the Sunsites area and as such, hardly express our personal satisfaction in making such a worthwhile investment.

It was my husband Frank who casually mentioned that he saw an advertisement in the PDN regarding properties that were for sale in Sunsites, Arizona. Frank and I often mused over the possibility of one day relocating with our family to the U.S. mainland when I retire from the government service. The only problem was, we couldn’t decide where. But, upon reading your ad that day, I was sold on the idea of moving to a place where “there is no crime, the climate is ideal, the air is clean, the cost of living is low, and the people are friendly”. My initial reaction was, “this is unreal” but it sounded like a perfect place to retire and enjoy the remaining years of our lives with our children and grand-children.

My husband and I immediately mailed out the form to the address indicated in the ad. A few days later, we were sitting in our dining room with Mr. Jeff Crytser, discussing the merits of owning a piece of property in Sunsites. That night, we consummated a purchase and that summer, we were aboard an airplane bound for the mainland. My sister, who lives in Manteca, California, has been to Phoenix about a year ago and could not fathom why we would want to live in a hot and barren state such as Arizona. She went hiking during her short stay in Phoenix and what she does remember is that there were “miles and miles of flatland and absolutely nothing”. I wasn’t’ the least bit discouraged for I had faith in Jeff. He was my agent for the land in Colorado that I had purchased from his brother’s real estate firm several years ago. Jeff is honest, sincere and, without a doubt, a man with principles. He treats his clients with respect and integrity. I was and still am confident that he would never lie just to make a sale.

I just wanted to say that my husband and I were really pleased with the Sunsites property that we bought. The hotel accommodations throughout our stay at the La Quinta Hotel in Tucson were exceptional and the staff were friendly and very helpful. However, Tucson was dry and much hotter than I had expected. I was feeling somewhat discouraged until the day came for our guide to take us on a tour of our property and the rest of Sunsites. In a nutshell…..the climate at Sunsites, in our opinion, is ideal. It was obvious that the residents of Sunsites proper pride themselves in maintaining their homes and neatly manicured lawns. There were no crimes to speak of. No pollution or any noticeable graffiti or trash anywhere and the people were very friendly. It is such a beautiful and peaceful community….much better than we had even imagined. It is an ideal location for couples to raise their children and a perfect place for those contemplating retirement. In comparison to other states, the cost of building a home there is affordable even for those living on a fixed income. The place is awesome for individuals who love and appreciate nature like we do. Arizona has great historical significance so there’s much to see and plenty to do. We simply fell in love with the place.

I couldn’t get over the fact that no one tends to the gift shop at the Pistachio Nut plantation on weekends. The owners leave the door unlocked so that anyone wishing to pick up some pistachio nuts and other goodies can come in, select what they want and leave the money in the cash box, which contains change for the customers. Totally unheard of in this day and age! We returned to Guam a week later feeling relieved and satisfied in knowing that we invested wisely in our Sunsites property. The thought of relocating to Sunsites sooner than planned seemed very tempting. But, realistically, it would be best to wait until the time was right.

Frank and I embrace every opportunity to share our experience with others who have indicated an interest in knowing more about the Sunsites properties. We’ve been there and saw it for ourselves and have since encouraged others to do likewise. Some have done so and are glad that they did. But there are those who are leery about investing in property that they have not seen, which is understandable. For stateside properties that are selling at hard-to-beat prices backed by a money-back guarantee, what does a person have to lose? Our advise to those who are still deliberating is….talk to others who have been there and are back. Then take your chances and invest in one lot….we took a chance and we’re glad we did.

Thank you for offering Guam’s residents the opportunity to make excellent real estate investments in Sunsites, Arizona. Guam will always have a special place in our hearts but we are delighted at the thought of relocating to Sunsites in the near future.
